Many people experience speech difficulties like aphasia, which can hinder verbal communication despite knowing what they want to say. Verbalize is an application tailored to address this challenge. It presents phrases as images and/or text that speak with a simple tap, facilitating communication that would otherwise be frustrating or unachievable.

Verbalize is user-friendly and highly customizable. Users can easily add, delete, or modify phrases and topics to better suit their requirements. They can utilize their own text, photo library, or camera to create personalized speech aids structured according to their preferences.

<li>Phrases are categorized into Topics for convenient navigation</li>
<li>Topics can be added, deleted, or modified</li>
<li>An icon set is provided for Topics</li>
<li>Phrases and Topics are organized into Phrase Books, beneficial for therapists creating books for multiple clients</li>
<li>Phrase Books can be imported or exported using AirDrop, Messages, or email</li>
<li>Phrase Books can be saved to or read from the iOS Files app</li>
<li>The app includes a built-in introduction, tips, and examples that can be revisited</li>
<li>A locking feature prevents accidental modifications</li>
<li>All functionalities can be explored at no cost with 6 phrases; the subscription removes the phrase limit</li>

Setting Up Verbalize:

Users have the flexibility to create their own Phrase Book by defining Topics and Phrases. Alternatively, they may enlist the help of a family member, friend, or therapist for setup. In such cases, the helper can construct a Phrase Book on their iOS device and transfer it to the user’s device using AirDrop, Messages, or email. The transferred phrases can then be customized to incorporate the user's personal images.

Locking Feature:

Verbalize offers a lock feature to prevent accidental changes to phrases. Even if the app is closed, it will reopen with the same locked Phrase Book. Exiting lock mode is a straightforward process if modifications are required.

Verbalize is available for free download with full functionality for up to 6 phrases. This allows users to thoroughly assess its suitability before subscribing and removing the phrase limit.
